Should immunisation go in hands of private hospitals

Apollo Group is gearing up to administer 1 million covid vaccines. Isnt this a case of a private group making inroads into another basi function of the Government i.e immunisation. It will be paid for by the Government.

Will it not lead to immunisation being done by private hospitals and as a result majority of the population not being able to afford it.

Govt should permit them to administer vaccine but not outsource its primary responsibility of immunisation to Private hospitals. more

Both Govt and Private Hospitals should be allowed Immunisation Free of Cost. Private Hospitals can be reimbursed by Govt. more
In a pandemic if epic proportions it is incumbent on the elected govt to do compulsary immunisation to all free . Apart from that it maybe allowed in private hospitals at a fixed fee for specific brands of vaccine . more
Whether government or private the aim should be to control the spread of vaccination. The most important thing is that the Private Hospitals should not exploit the public by extracting money or charging abnormal charges. more
There are well off people who cannot stand in queues for hours to get the doze of vaccine. It is not a bad idea to allow reputed hospitals to do this job at a price fixed by the Govt. The Govt. should make arrangement in all Govt. hospitals/dispensariees to start vaccination under the supervision of a qualified Doctor. more
Government should be able to see through the vaccine conspiracy and stay out of it. more
