SENIOR CITIZEN CONCESSION - PROPOSAL

Railways must reintroduce Sr Citizen discounts in ticket prices. Mostly senior citizens are dependent on their children who are not always ready to spend on high ticket rates as such, concessional tickets can make these children participate in buying tickets for senior citizens. I suggest, Railways can introduce rationing like two to four journeys per annum. Or limit kilometer distance per year. This can help senior citizens as well as Railways to save in expenditure. Railways please come forward with a senior citizen friendly policy. more

The suggestion by Mr. Kishnu Das regarding rationing of tickets for senior citizens is good and should be acceptable to Indian Railways. more

after paying tax around 35 years during employment, they expect social and financial support from government in the areas like health, travel, and insurance. Hope this will be one of their manifestos for 2024 Elections. more
