Security in Railway trains

I lost more than 2.5 lakhs worth jewelry in 2 tier AC Navajeevan on 18th June 2018(PNR 4244899350) around 9:00am. Suspicion on copassengers who got down at Jalgoan. Case filed at Nadurbur. This is our case.

With this experience, I emphasize that

Make it compulsory to add Aadhar number in the ticket reservation form (both online and offline) atleast for AC compartments. Latter send the ticket information or intimation to the registered mobile number stated in Aadhar. If someone gives fake number and address in the form, the original owner of that Aadhar number can intimate and help us grab the culprits. If no such number exists then cancel the ticket in 24hrs. By which we can try denying any untoward incident occuring in the trains. We can even catch the culprits afterwards. Probably someone can suggest any other better alternative. more

Three more train robberies in AP .Rly ministry should take steps. more
Is there no role for cameras, armed individual security in AC coaches due to increased thefts, emergency button to alert the guard, emergency alert app for phone . more
There is also the issue of waitlisted passengers travelling even half of the journey moving from Non AC to AC too . Coach Conductors and Attendants are also to take responsibility. When the RAC quota is also not adjusted, who waitlisted passengers be allowed to travel is the main issue . Many Trains are running in this way because of lenience . Rule in deed do not permit those continue travel in the Reserved Compartments unless with a Reserved Accommodation to more than a Station . Further, there is need of a Special Coach in all Trains to allow these such Passengers who could be later allotted if vacancy occurs AND NOT TO BE ALLOWED TO TRAVEL IN THE RESERVED COACHES . We are purchasing Tickets even paying extra under Tatkal quota and facing all such issues . Railways are to understand this issue also and opt for a Special Coach for those who anticipate Reservation against Cancellation in Train . more
