The matter of fact is that as soon as one gets power, he is no more a public servant. Even a clerk dealing with your file will refuse to accept that he is a public servant and shall get irritated if you happen to say that to him and then perhaps your case may get spoiled as usually happens. The so called SAHIB will listen to clerk's dictates rather than you. more

Dr. Rajendar Sharma ji: For those expressed concerns about checks and balances over elected CMs, it is possible to redefine role of Chief Justice and Chief Secretary who, then, can discharge constitutional and administrative roles and advise president through Central Home Ministry for maintaining checks and balances in the system. All ceremonies have to be scrapped. All of them are Sevak of Janata. more
GOOD IDEA. LET us get it on. more
There are occasions when chief minister with unlimited powers and authority goes amuck and governor is needed to restrain his highhandedness. Nevertheless, too much expenditure on this gubertorial position need to be restrained by reducing staff, contingencies, travel, and a number of miscellaneous expenses as at present. The expenditure on CM and ministers, speaker, bureacrats, chairmen, etc., should also cut in public interest. more
