Schools in noida shut tmrw and sat
Seems like Noida dm has sent a message in local circles saying because of cold weather schools up to class 5 should be shut friday and saturday. Can ghaziabad dm also do the same pls. The weather is same. more

We should not copy everything. Weather is not that bad that schools should be shut down. How much is the kid exposed to bad weather? Not even for 5-10 minutes. He travels in Bus or car and then in school, it is warm. Having so many vacations impacts the performance, also they have to take Saturday classes. Last week, I heard about Karpoori jayanti. This govt will try to appease every group by giving innumerable vacations anyway. Anyway, what is the great thing that children do during vacations other than watching TV, laptops, mobiles and games? They must go to school as much as possible, better for them and us. Also they play games with other children, socialize etc. more

It's not first time in past also Noida DM has taken these types of decisions where schools has been asked to shut for severe cold , hot or any other abnormal weather changes but unfortunately Ghaziabad is far behind. more
