SBI card has pathetic customer care service
I have SBI card that I use mainly for buying some books online or some products from FMCG Co. I recently had ordered a product probably but due to some reason or others SBI card tried to block my card (acceptable if that is safety norm to protect customer) but the problem is even after several request to restore my card (remove block) I am still waiting for when with their mercy they will unblock the card. After speaking with customer care who promised to unblock the card nothing happened till date (even after a week) now as i raised this issue on social sites, SBI card representative has assured for help (3 days back) still nothing happens. Some private banks do not unblock a blocked debit card. Instead issue a new card with charges for the same. more

As we know only too well and through painful personal experience, PSUs are notorious for their apathy and in their world view customer service is an alien and undesirable entity to be contemptuously treated. SBI being the behemoth that it is leads the pack!! more

In general, the working standard of SBI is very POOR. Be it Staff Response or be it their Equipment functioning. Also even Branch Managers are also least bothered. Most of the time when you visit the branch, your work will not be done. Needs Introspection. more
