Role Homemakers can play in Swachh Bharat

We need to grill some discipline among the masses.Make the service with defence forces compulsory for all citizens for at least a period of five years and watch the results of the well intended schemes. more  
Swacch Bharat also means swacch air, pollution is not just on land, so there should be some initiative so that each individual grow 1 plant/tree for air purification. Seeing the current summer temperatures and no of casualties. It high time to do something in this direction . Even if 50% is the success rate, we will have 50 crores more tree. more  
Home makers have major role to play in swacch Bharat by reducing generation of waste. 1. Try to prepare only as much food as required so no left over which is added to garbage. 2.Educate children on necessity of washing hands.3. Conservation of water by storing drained water from washing machine for cleaning floor etc,4. Use Separate garbage bins for bio-degradable and non-degradable waste,--- Sundararajan Tiruvanmiyur Chennai. more
