ROAD SAFETY - IMPLEMENTATION OF STRICT LAWS
One incident happened in Trichy (T.N) few months back that a person named Mr. Ganesh (Painter) standing at the side of road was beaten up a Mini Bus. When enqiured Mini Bus Driver coolly said Break Failure.
Question:
1. If it was a break failure why did you drive for 2 kms knowing that break had failed? What would be the punishment the least would be to pay a fine of Rs. 5,000 for a life?
2. Who should be blamed Driver (Drived Bus with Break Failure), Owner (No proper maintenance), Govt. Officials (Did not Inspect), Traffic Police (Did not stop Reckless Driving), the Public? more

Mr Bhatia has a point.However it needs to be taken seriously by media compaign and public at large.Any incident like one in Trichy should be taken up by transport deptt of state govt and licence of driver suspended. more

The Transportation and Road Safety Proposals are still under anti protest by the Transporters and some Political Parties . Both these wings have also to understand the public interest or, the Courts shall intervene . more
