ROAD SAFETY and BARRIERS
I travel frequently to Bangalore, Cochin and Nagercoil by Road. I have noticed police place Barriers to check the cars and buses and trucks. in the night. But these are never taken away and left even during daytime as well. So whom do you complain. ? The quality of such barriers are so poor, the visibility level is very less. In some locations it is like a S turn. Permanently placed at the same location for moths and years. This is open place for collection of toll in night.Ignoring the safety of all road users in the day and night.

Badly needed . All barriers are to be painted with luminous paint with zebra stripes and well lighted around the barriers/ check posts if not being used . more

Sometimes we should have no problem in SLOWING DOWN a bit to keep staying ALIVE on the mother Earth. more

That barrier is not to check cars but for slowing the speeding vehicles!!! Happens only here.. I have problem with those too but most drivers say, its ok to keep or else the speeding vehicles never slow down at accident prone area. more

Warning sign boards and safety barriers are there in sharp curves and accident prone zones by NH authorities. But who cares? Fatal accidents happen often and everything is in mash. Thousands innocent people are died. The enormous speed of the vehicles particularly at night time and early in the morning mat with accident and ruin the lives of the people. more
