Then he called us in kitchen and said filters need changing showing us high TDS. We said ok. Then he adjusted the TDS knob post filter change.
Out of curiosity and suspicion mu wife said change the filters back (put old back) and he did only for us to see that TDS stayed low.
So basically the crook service engineer changed the knob setting to show high tds and then said change filters. When the filters were changed he changed knob setting to show low TDS.
He and his buddies are probably doing it in thousands of homes each year and the RO makers are having a ball with service revenue. No body is bothered to analyse data and say that filters or thousands of consumer that by design dont need changing every 3-6 months are being changed.
