revocation of GST registration cancellation

i have got the revocation of GST registration of one of my client two times. but still its status is inactive and cancelled.

what could be the reason???
plz suggest more

Inactive and cancelled is the status as you have revoked your registration. Once a registered number is given it is permanent you can not give it to others. When someone gets an invoice with this registration number and he enters is it not necessary to caution him that it is inactive and cancelled. That is the status. What is the issue. more

You need to contact the jurisdictional officer for corrective action more

He might have not filed the annual return. Only after he filed annual return the registration will be cancelled. If he is eligible for the waiver his registration may be cancelled after Nov 30, 2019 more
