1. Railways can tie up with taxi companies to allow passengers to book taxis from the station
2. Railways may create a system where passengers may book a taxi along with a railway ticket
3. These taxi companies may be allowed fix spot to pick and drop passengers and for that companies may be asked to pay a fixed amount to railways on monthly basis
4. The e-commerce companies could be given space on railway stations to keep materials ordered by travelers, who can collect their goods directly from the counters of e-commerce companies
5. e-commerce companies could be allowed to show products to passengers which they can order there and then and receive at the destination station
6. Railways could get their own fleet of trucks/vans to pick up stuff from the warehouses of these e-commerce companies and use the same freight forwarding corridor as at present to provide last mile connectivity
7. Railways have a huge land bank which can be used for storage purpose for all the e-commerce companies. This will also enhance cargo usage of railways by the e-commerce companies. more

An online system to be introduced. Such as instead of paper work of passenger boarding report, the concerned TTE's have to incorporate passenger boarding report with a hand hold online device. Thus vacant and non boarded vacant seats will be allotted automatically by means of a priority algorithm through an online system and passengers will be notified via sms. There will be no roll of TTE's in the process of allotting vacant seats to RAC or wait listed passengers. more

Most of the important stations are controlled by the private taxi and auto associations. OLA and UBER companies must be allowed with some liverage to park their vehicle, which will help the railway passengers. more
