Railways Catering : Complaint Register not being given easily .

During Journey on 23/06 by Duranto from Delhi to BLR I found expired curd served. When I wanted complaint register I was given a slip of feedback as complaint book.When I insisted for proper complaint register 5 staff of caterer appeared and started using all sorts of tricks to drop the idea of proper complaint. Rly should do something to ensure complaint book is readily available and prominently displayed sign about its availability. more

there should be a electronic complaint register available and action should be taken next day morning,and complaint should be given top priority.dr.jp more

In Guntakal station there are complaint mobile nos being displayed. You can sms to register your complaint and as soon as you do, they ll call you back for asking about the nature of complaint. Good start. I complained twice about 2 caterers serving food at higher price than MRP, till now don't know what action was taken against them. Proper complaint mechanism and escalation should be brought in. more
