recently my uncle had to wait 7 hours on new Delhi railway station because the train was running late. so there should be a sms system by winch a passenger,(who is not having smart phones), can get the running status of the train easily.However There is sms system for the same but it is costly. The railway should inform the passenger about the status of the train, he is going to travel by sending a sms. more

When we are moving in a Train compartment in India,we are in dark of our journey that is there is no announcement inside the compartment about the route and present status which can easily be displayed through digital board in each compartment.We can reach mars but we cannot give answer to a passenger specially a person who is travelling alone in a railway compartment knowing nothing about his journey.That is the lacuna of our system. Today information is the power.So to a passenger it has become mandatory to know his present status inside the compartment. more
