Public Consumption of Alcohol: Inputs Sought
Delhi Government has recently expressed its willingness to enforce ban on consumption of alcohol in public places. With this post, we would like to seek your very specific inputs on how any local and state administration can enforce such a ban effectively.
There have been announcements in the past but rarely a sustainable enforcement. The objective here is to give the interested leaders a citizen perspective of how it could be done.

The fact here is that we should not be dictating anything to the youth..Its the youth that supports the new ideas...When the youth gets restricted ,he does not feel comfortable more

World is a global village today..lot of foreigners visit our country..why do we need to ban Alchohol?..Govt should ban the local brand of alcohol..these local brands are cheap and cause casualties.. more

Chennai has a model wherein you can buy alcohol from Government authorized shops but cannot consume in public.So far it is holding on and there are no visible nuisance in the public places. more
