PROBABLY THE LAST WEAPON TO SAVE HUMANS FROM STRAY DOGS :

At long last, the long-overdue and vexing issue that has troubled citizens for decades seems to be nearing resolution. For years, the “street dog menace” has been widely reported in print and digital media — with tragic accounts of citizens being mauled, chased, or fatally infected with rabies. It has been discussed and argued in several High Courts across the Indian Union and even in the Supreme Court. Yet, for decades, the situation remained largely unresolved, leaving countless citizens helpless and fearful in their own neighbourhoods.
Finally, a suo motu action by a Supreme Court Justice about six months ago set the ball rolling. Since then, a series of significant judgments have followed — marking a real turning point. The most recent order lays down clear directives for designated feeding zones, vaccination, and sterilization of stray dogs.
Let’s hope that animal lovers, too, recognize that human lives and health are equally important in achieving a balanced, humane solution for all. more

Polluting diesel cars and construction dust have troubled citizens for decades causing 500+ AQI Jayakumar ji. Any resolution? Any "weapon" to save humans from humans? more
Yes — some of the recent actions (mass vaccination, stronger enforcement, court orders) can be powerful tools in reducing human risk from stray dogs. But calling them the “last weapon to save humans” is too strong because: They’re not guaranteed to succeed fully given current challenges They require follow‑through, sustained resources, and community cooperation They must be combined with other measures (public awareness, waste management, pet regulation) more
The Supreme Court has directed all the State Governments and Union Territories to remove the "Stray Dogs from " within weeks. more
