Printing of expiry date standards

Validity of print shall be more than 3.5 years and Expiry to be considered as Max. 3 years.

During 3 years each man made thing (eatble) have undergone each season for 1year ..... Is the suggestion. ( Winter, Summer and rainy season; each of 4 months a year x Total consequential 3 years ) more  

The expiry date is usually two to three years. There should not be any compromise in this matter. more  
There are many foods that have indefinite shelf life. Salt, Sugar, Vinegar for instance. Most foods do not 'expire' in that become unsafe for consumption but the taste may have changed and hence there is concept of Best Before. I do hope that Government departments will take science based decisions. more
