Police Complaint System Broken
A 19 year old gang raped by 4 men near habibganj (bhopal) station, the buggers took gutka and ciggerate breaks in between and police says to the girl and her family - go find the rapists then we will take action. they were busy in MP Foundation Day.
The parents of the girl, themselves are policemen in a town 1 hour away and were told by police they are lying. They then went and caught the 2 rapists and brought them to police.
I feel Ashamed, Embarrasesd , Depressing, Pathetic and Painful. This circle can either sleep peacefully or tell state DGPs to fix their complaint acceptance system.

Dismiss the erring police personnel on duty as per police manual and strict action should be taken to give a clear message in the department so that others can take a lesson. more

This is true of the law and justice in this country. My father and I were being threatened by a goon that he would cut our throats and other dastardly acts and when we went to the police station to complain the inspector tells us that he has cut your throat right, come back when he commits the crime. That is the state of the law in our country. If you go to the court they will rip the victim apart cause the rights of the criminal needs to be protected at any cost. more

The concerned state government head, the Chief Minister should himself look into the issue and the working system of the police department should be reviewed by himself to find out the reasons for such highhandedness of the police officers in registering FIR and find out the culprits immediately on receiving the complaint. He must instruct the high rank police officers to immediately issue necessary instructions to all police stations to attend such cases on top priority keeping aside all other activities. His should also instruct the department to immediately dismiss the concerned police officials and put them behind the bars to set an examples for other officials and should monitor the progress of the case personally. Meanwhile, the social activists should come to the rescue of the victim and her affected family from mental agony and shame as also to make the issue a social & public movement to create innumerable pressure on the government and its police department compelling them to initiate stringent action against the arrogant, evasive & irresponsible police personnel, if possible, making them responsible for assisting the perpetrators. more
