Police-Admin-Community connectivity
Thank you to many friends for engaging in my subject of maintaning harmony. I strongly believe that the administration and police had no idea of what was going in peoples mind in Haryana till it erupted so badly.
This Surkashit Bharat concept should be taken local at the earliest possible and police officers must be made to really understand whats bothering people, whats their pulse so such debacles dont take an ugly turn like they did last 3 days in Haryana.
Indian Police Foundation may pls advise what is being done in this regards with Home Ministry and Police Forces. more

If a minister need police protection it means his work is shoddy requiring police protection from his voters. He is to be removed, not protected. I admire Jawaharlal Nehru who replied Kennedy "I don't need body guard. The-- crores of Indians are my protection." more

For operational activity the police have to.be compartmentalised and insulated from political hierarchy. Until this is done such losses will mount and inefficiency creep in. They should be made answerable to courts only, not wasting manpower guarding ministerial bungalows more

It was a total intelligence failure which resulted in loss of Rs40,000/- crores in Haryana.Wrong policies of Governments regarding reservation policies over the years resulted in such type of anger among the youth.Politicians are responsible for inciting violence . The following is recommended to avoid such events in future. 1. Need to educate politicians on communal harmony. 2.Declare only two castes in INDIA, HAVE and HAVE NOTS. 3. Reservation only for HAVE NOTS. 4. Improve education system to make strong base for development and not for destruction. 5. Improve training standards of police and intelligence agencies. 6.Generate more jobs so that youth is employed and busy . 7 Lay more stress on development rather than reservations. 8. Deal with corrupt politicians and Government officials. 9.Make minimum use of ARMY to deal with own people, because ARMY is meant to deal with enemy only. more

There remains so many things to write about local and even regional or national Police administration. But where to write for a possible remedy? Nothing is available at the State level Police administration to effectively communicate to. At hand is the problem of car parking in narrow places in Pondicherry by tourist/transport business people and nothing happens even after repeated requests to the Traffic Department. These are not such issues that may be made into an F.I.R. but surely these creates shimmering discontent in the minds of the people like Police collecting money from trucks and other vehicles in some states, as are reported in news media. more

What is to be done if the State Abdicates its responsibility of protecting its citzens and property as is the case in Haryana. When we are asked to pay Income Tax,Sales Tax,Road Tax but the State does not take any responsbilty of protecting its citizens,what recourse does the citizen have.Tweeting on Internet like us.???? more
