PF name correction.
There is an error in name in the old PF account . so when i try to add that account to UAN account it errors out with incorrect name. How to correct the name in the old account ( around 8 years old) more

Not to worry this can be solved as u have to do a small papers communication to have the right name which appears in the Photo Id. T ake a stamp paper of Rs. 50/- or Rs. 100/- and make a affidavit in your name for the correction which is to be changed in PF account. Get the same attested by Notary and then submit the same to PF Department. more

Dear Mr. Jeffrey, Don,t worry about this. Please go to your PF Office concerned and obtain Joint Declaration Form in that please fill up what you want to correct like your name, father's name and date of birth, etc. Please fill up what to be corrected and what is existing against the column, it should be signed by you as well as your employer and send it to PF Office for correction through your employer. Your name will be corrected accordingly. Please correct your name as per your PAN Card. The are insisting PAN Card as a proof for correction. more

You request correction with application form, ID proof through your employer. After 1 month do RTI regarding application status. Definitely it will be done. more
