People want to pay INR 600 or less for 2 doses

Thanks to all circle members who took the time to share feedback on how vaccination via private hospitals should work, whether you will get the vaccine there or at a Government hospital and how much you they will willing to pay for it. Below is the full survey report:

Survey on vaccination at Private Hospitals

Do share with all your contacts as well as social media to ensure that the Government authorised price is not higher than INR 600 for 2 doses. It is important that the vaccine stays affordable for the masses and no one profiteers from the pandemic. more

The main question is how to recover Administrative Cost for Vaccination? Because as such their overheads are very high, which Govt may not agree to pay. That is why so many private hospitals are not coming forward. Actually if Private Hospitals come forward, this project can be done very fast and smoothly. more
I think it would be good if govt issues a notification saying that pvt hospitals should not be charging for anything else like what Natesh has mentioned and if they do then it has to be mentioned in the bill so that legal action can be taken on them by the customer more
Now that the price has been fixed at rs 500, I hope that the rollout will be smooth without website glitches more
Private hospitals know how to squeeze money from the patients. They will say that the cost of the vaccine is Rs. 250/-. But the cost of the syringe will be Rs300/- and cost of pricking the needle will be another Rs.500/- and charge atleast Rs.1000/- more
Government should bear the cost and public should get it free. more
