Our efforts on VIP culture fighting finding support

The message is getting across. See attached the Chief Justice of India carrying his own bag. I have seen atleast a dozen times politicians bureaucrats and even media editors moving with a support staff to carry a light weight bag at airports till the flight. Absolute VIP culture.

If the president below and chief justice can be no Vip people why cant babus mantris media editors and defence wallahs do it.

A senior ranking army person gets 5 people to drop him and his wife and doggie to the train. Absolutely pathetic

I had many times tried to crack the problem, in fact the custom called VIP culture, & understand it; but at a shallow level. When dived in depth it was realized that the culture is imbibed in Indians since thousands of years. Atithee Devo Bhav comes out of it. Till recently one could see 100 persons boarding a train coach to see off one traveler leaving for UP or Bihar at Mumbai rly terminals. VIP culture must be weaned maturely. more
