Online RTI Application
It is nearly impossible to upload any RTI application by Government of India RTI online portal. Can anybody help how to make the portal usable. I was trying to upload a correct RTI application as per requirements of the portal for the last one month but it refuses to accept. I used Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Mozila Firefox but the portal's action is the same refusal. more

Seems people are making comments just for the sake of making comment. Go to https://rtionline.gov.in/faq.php and get answers to various questions. Using this portal, one saves lot of time & money by not having to go to post office to buy a postal order, and by not having to go to PIO office and Appellate Authority office. Some of the public aiuthorities make lot of drama while accepting physical application and this harassment is avoided by making application online. Agreed it may not be be highly friendly but it is also not highly unfriendly. more

The system as a whole is not users friendly and no efforts I repeat no efforts has been made to make it users friendly. Application forms has been made so complicated that it is beyond the comprehension of common man. In nut shell one can conclude that the system is middleman/agents friendly,as was prevailing during British Rajya. more

if there is so much issue govt should give instructions to help common man who may not be knowing the same. Also there should be provision of uploading a written document either in jpeg or pdf format and should be made user friendly so that people do not have to seek middle men's help more

Because of these complications, people are compelled to take the help of middle men. It should be user friendly. more
