Ola scooters are plain dangerous

Please see attached. If anyone in your family has booked them, sell them second hand or junk them. I dont know what authorities in India are doing if this was in USA OLAs factory have been shut by now. This is what happens when there are no standards, no check balances no proper qa and enforcement and greedy investors. more

When we buy a second hand scooter we have to see whether it has passed the RTO requirements in that region. If not we cannot hold any body responsible than ourselves. more

It appears that Ola has sold one of their used scooters/ Bike to you and you found it dangerous and risky to drive. You have also compared USA and India. Each of those countries have their own laws and they have their courts for redressal of grievances in case of violation of law. In India, as far as know, you buy a used vehicle after you have ensured that the piece is worth the price you are paying, by getting a report from dependable (by you) mechanic and Govt. is not involved anywhere. I do not think Govt. should be involved and made responsible for anything that goes against any individual judgment. RYK. more
