October 2'nd 2015: 1 year of Swachh Bharat

We would like to seek your ideas on what should be done on 1 year anniversary of Swachh Bharat. Through this milestone, we would like to re-energize the nation such that there is strong and sustained participation from Citizens, Swachh Bharat Ambassadors, Civic Bodies, State Governments, Businesses, NGOs and any other participants.

Please be as specific in your inputs as possible and share your ideas at the earliest.

Agreed with Kalpana Rangan, But still people throw tea cups on road side having dust bin in front of tea shops, feeling like every tea shops have one sign board " USE DUSTBIN PLEASE " after all it is our place and we need to keep clean more
A competition between RWAs and subsequently between residents of a particular colony can be arranged . The best and worst are to be identified. Suitable awards to the cleanest RWAs/ individual residents be given. At the same time names of worst performers be publicized . Noida authority should also allocate roads / common areas to their functionaries and have similar exercises periodically. more
It has improved but people's participation is important if it has to be effective. Garbage bins have to be installed by BMC every one kilometer for people to throw litter in them. If you observe people throwing waste paper or bags outside please ask them to use the bin. You can also ask shop keepers to install bins outside their shops. We have to make every effort to keep our surroundings clean. Instead of just blaming the govt. let us do our best to improve the situation. more
Only this mission is successful in railway coaches and platforms and some where it is partially and in case on municipal administration it is complete unsatisfactory. more
During one year ,swachh bharat mission has made city more dirty. Garbage containers are removed. Municipal corporation is not cleaning internal parts of city and markets. Money spent on propongada but actual cleaning is only on pappers.  This is swachh Bharat Mission. If any body haas any arguement can contact vide mail to know the facts. On Wednesday, 16 September 2015 6:53 PM, Swachh Bharat Mission wrote: more
