No cancellation charges for automatically cancelled trains / tickets

Yes, there is no need to file TDR if train is cancelled. Further if wait listed tickets could not be confirmed & automatically cancelled by railways, full amount of tickets should be refunded but Rly. used to deduct minimum cancellation charges as per their norms from the customer, this should be stopped. Railway should review their cancellation/refund policy. Cancellation/refund is now one of the major source of income for railway. As the Railway is for/by/of the citizens of India, all policies should be in favor of Indian citizens. more
