For MCGM it is much below the expectation level.Needs Improvement. more
Improved garbage clearance, but erratic.,mixing of dry and wet garbage b6 collector at the time of collection. Main culprits of garbage problems in coloniesisthe house maids, male servants, drivers and workers ,partly owners who do not stop their servants from dumping garbage in empty areas of plots. more
Hardly anyone is serious about the garbage. It requires further improvement more
I totally disagree with Mr. Rajiv Gogate. My personal experience in this matter was bitter. Recently I requested a fellow walker not to spit on the road and he, instantly, raged me to ask me "who are you to request. This is a public place and I will do whatever I want and wish". May be the situation would be different if this is done by a forum of people or from the local body. Certainly, one can join any forum involved in this project and do his/her bit but not individually. Again the local body and ward corporators should set an example and be role models. more
As Indians we are very accommodating type, - accommodating to a point of fault. Also none of us want to stop others from spitting / throwing garbage on the road or any other uncivil activities. We expect everything to be done by govt authorities. As long as this attitude exists, our problems will continue. more
