MPs and MLAs on ground

I still feel some of the initiatives of Hon PM are not getting implemented on the ground due to passive MP and MLAs. Places where BJP do not have their MP, local BJP organization need to take care but that seems to be not happening beyond photo opp. I hope the managers of this group will share this feedback in some form.
E.g. I am from Thane, Maharashtra and Thane Station was chosen as model station to start improvement. But 6 months since Hon. Modiji has formed government and still no change here. Not even toilets are cleaned yet. Forget about other initiatives.
Soon people will start loosing interest and start feeling this is another typical govt announcement which does not mean anything. more

Yes they need little time to settle & understand the things, most of them r new & saw that their counterparts fm opposition used to visit their constituency once in 5 year/ when election declared which ever is earlier till then they do stay in capital. But slowly & surely they will change for good. more
I agree with Himanshu, barring a few MPs , all are passive. more
Himanshuji, Things will take time.. You will see change happening slowly.. Mainly, when ppl see others cleaning up, they too start thinking about it.. And one day, they too will join the efforts.. I believe 5 years is not sufficient actually to reach ZERO DIRT/TOTAL CLEANLINESS aim.. Its a real slow process. Its good to see at least we have started well.. In cricketing terms, I would say- Powerplay overs have been taken care of very well by opening batsmen.. Now is the consolidation phase. By 2019- we'll enter the final SLOG OVERS for free hitting!!!!! more
