Modi Government should take first step starting from manufacturing sector

If you notice the source of all the garbage is from manufacturing sector and not from individual who are in fact second entity. people were fine without biselery water, processed foods, sanitary napkin, diapers and plastic bags they never asked. But just to promote manufacturing companies. all this was introduced in the Indian market. Now people are so use to these unnecessary products that a lot of effort will require to detox. Government should only promote nature friendly and zero garbage products, except some life saving products, rest should be banned completely . This way there will be no need of dust bins and garbage collection as the source itself is taken care of... more

Madam, we are living in twenty first century, liberalised global economy is reality. Every one know that municipal water supplied to any Restaurant in Mumbai are as or better than bottled RO waters, still people prefer bottled branded water, even in 5* hotels. Banning can be a good solution in a communist ruled states, but we are living in greatest democracy in the world. Here banning don`t work but rejecting can. Whatsoever you feel not good for you, society or nation reject it and influence other people to do so. No one can stop you if you make your view in to an "Andolan". I will be the first one to support you, but make it a mass movement. Don`t expect every thing has to be done by the Gvt. alone. Voice of people will be supreme in Democracy but it must become mass movement. Any mass movement needs a leader, develop that quality in you and start communicating your view in your local locality. Total ban on these products are practically impossible. For some, bottled water is a blessing and so are sanitary napkins and diapers for many urban and rural dwellers. We need to learn from those countries who have used these products decades ahead of us and now have organised practice to dispose it. We need not debate or re-invent the way for garbage collections and disposals, instead, a change in our mindset is badly needed. more
