Mandatory BIS standards for EV batterrie

DRDO finds huge battery defects in EVs. Rank bad batteries coming from China at Rs 17-23000 for cheap sales. TDK batteries at Rewari costs Rs 46000. Why no BIS registration is being made by mandatory by Industry & Commerce Ministry more

Whose interests are being served by importing substandard goods from China? On examination of items listed by Amazon, Bigbasket, Flipkart, ....- overwhelming no. of items of China origin are found - even floor mops. No item, particularly electrical items, should not permitted to be sold without certification by the competent quality authority. more

All engg. Goods being imported from China must meet BIS standards lest India becomes a dumping ground. more
