Minimising COVID risk in schools

Many of you as parents and grandparents participated in the safe school reopening survey in the circle. Below is the reporrt:

Minimising COVID risk in schools

It is strongly recommended that you review and share the same in your parents group as well as with school management as actions here will determine safety from COVID in schools in the coming months. LocalCircles will be escalating the same to Central Government and State Governments. Everyone will need to act to keep the children and as a result adults safe!

Do share any inputs you may have on the subject! more

School authorities should ensure Covid protocl. more
I guess whatever norms are laid for covid-appropriate behaviour elsewhere needs to be applied to schools too. Only that it needs to be stringently enforced. social distancing can happen by splitting the class strength in two batches and instead of in-class hours of 40 hours may be an initial 20 or 25 in-class hours and the rest offline hours can do for the next quarter may be OR if two adjacent rooms can be combined into one large classroom to accommodate the entire class strength probably....whichever way to maintain social distancing is a must And of course to install CCTVs & to slap penalties where covid-appropriate norms are flayed as covid gets tired of attacking humans and retreats.....things can slowly chug back to normalcy. a few loss of in-class hours FOR 3 MONTHS, is always MUCH BETTER THAN RISKING YOUNG LIVES OR MAY BE POSING A THREAT TO THE ENTIRE POPULATION!! more
