Major data breach on Cowin
A telegram bot is allowing to query - what possibly appears entire CoWIN database by mobile number / Aadhaar & returns vaccination details if exists.
Name, Mobile, Gender, ID Proof used (Aadhaar/Passport), Vax centre address.
All you need is the person’s mobile number.

Is the data breach confirmed by anyone or we are just reacting on some hearsay? Let us be sure. There is very little sense in stoking a rumour into gossip. more

This is neither a joke, rumour or gossip! A lot of people have sufferred and continue to suffer financial and other losses especially with the misuse of Aadhar, PAN and mobile number in the government's efforts to make us link everything and go digital!! Just pray you do not get scammed ... more

No body including Govt.Of India and various govt.,pvt.non-govt.companies,banks, various pvt./govt.semi pvt.companies,agencies,NGO`s serious about the breach of personal data info in India.For every Identity the next person or service provider company is asking for Adhar & Pan no.s. Its implications and effects are serious and no one knows to what extends it goes. This must be stopped and strict guidelines must be give.Even Digi locker like online documents storage is also not safe. Imagine with AI tools it can create Havoc with any person. Simple rule is if you trying become more social on internet media with all your profile updated and uploaded with current status on Face book and Insta a/c`s,What app etc. details will get automatically updated please note that you are most vulnerable to any of the cyber attack/fraud, attack on your finance,a/c etc.and you will be slowly entangled with the power of net. Try to make the things simple independent,isolated without any net connectivity. Already with your android cell ph.and the sim you are always tracked and monitored by Google. So by the way you already lost your privacy and isolation. Limited usage cell ph.with min.linked apps and social a/c s with incomplete info.will save you upto certain extend. Further it is expected that experts in the field will guide everybody. more
