Love singing? Forming a singing group
Hello singing enthusiasts!
Love singing but don't know the right people?
I'm trying to form a group of people (grown-ups, not kids) who would occasionally like to get together for some good, fun-filled singing sessions including Hindi film songs, light classical and even bhajans and ghazals.
Who knows, one day we may also find ourselves performing somewhere?

Hello Gunjan. Although flexible vocal cords will certainly help, they are not necessary. In order to sing well, what you need is a good sense of maintaining your scale and singing within the beat. Sure, Nirmala. It's not really important how we can communicate as long as we can connect and communicate and talk about singing and related topics, mostly improving ourselves. Dear friends, as the interface of this forum does not allow direct replies, Kindly let me know what more details you want to know. In the beginning it's going to be an amateur group of singers who have been singing for some time with all without training but are unable to get like-minded people to jam and practice regularly. The basic idea is to create a conducive environment to let our singing skill grow and blossom. I have no idea what direction it is going to take, my sole objective is to create the environment and then see what turns up. more
