loose stools in kids

my 5 year old gets loose stools quite often..at least once a month...most of the time he is on prebiotics...he is not taking milk since he gets watery stools after that...even fruits like papaya and mango does'nt suit him...can someone suggest me a good pediatric who actually believes in providing a solution rather than making money ...had consulted vinod chowdhary and Dr arvind garg more

Dr. Sarath Gopalan, Paediatric Gastroenterologist at Paras Hospital, Gurgaon. You can take an appointment on Phone - 0124-4585555. He treated my daughter 2 yrs back when she was 3 yrs old and finally it took 6 months for the treatment but we visited only 3 times. If you plan to meet him, pls carry all previous history/reports/medication etc. My experience with him has been excellent so far! All the best! more

I think the problem is with Gastro here. It would be ideal if you visit Gastro Pediatric instead of just normal pediatric doctor. My personal perception is that kids gastro problems should be look after by specialized gastro pediatrics only. more
