LocalCircles tatkal survey is viral

Lot of people are discussing our survey on tatkal. Yesterday relative from jaipur shared this. It was on front page on Rajasthan Patrika.

I think the rail minister will
Now be forced to clean up this agent network that is operating behind the scenes possibly so common people are not scammed in tatkal booking on irctc

IRCTC needs to modify the software used for booking tickets. Once you have filled up all details and proceed to pay, the processing of payment takes a long time and availability status changes. One solution is that Berths requested should be blocked as soon as you proceed for payment. Another solution is software to deposit the ticket amount in IRCTC Wallet before starting booking process. In case of non availability of berths IRCTC should return the amount to registered customer. more
Sure ,when agents are paying handsomely" taxes" more
It's time that agent are not allowed to access tatkal service more
When govt is part of the system then all eyes and ears will be shut.I do not see the reason why agents need to be given tatkal booking facility. It should be removed from their access since only genuinetravellers will be using tatkal due to various reasons.I would strongly recommend our railway minister who talks big things to look into the same and close the window for tatkal for agents for three months and see how it benefits the customer and needy.Wake up railway minister and do not only talk to vandebharat or bullet trains there are common people who travel in regular trains and cannot affort the vandebharat.Hope you look into this aspect more
The agents are well entrenched in the irctc website for the last more than 25 years. It needs major overhaul on priority. more
