3rd wave travel cancellations: Many not getting refunds

Thanks to all of you who participated in the travel cancellation survey last week.

The findings indicate that many who decided to cancel their Jan-March travel plans did not get a refund from airlines and/or hotels. Below is the link to the survey report which is carried by many media publications:

Majority unable to get airline and hotel cancellation refund despite it being due to 3rd wave

If you have additional inputs on how airlines and hotels are processing your refund request please do share. We are urging the Government to come up with a pandemic specific policy on this to reduce the end user loss and inconvenience. more

Local Circles are doing excellent jobs in discharging its desired jobs. However, I'm sure the government would have taken appropriate decisions at the appropriate time to keep the new variants at bay to the possible extant. more
GoI has acted quickly n rightly. Implementation of covid appropriate behavior at all public places be made compulsory. Testing of people should be increased throughout the country. The people flouting the guidelines should be fined regularly. We should not force the Govt. to re-impose lockdown which financially kills those of who earn their livelyhood on daily or monthly basis. Everybody owes a duty towards public at large. more
I do not think Mr.Modi will be influenced by these comments. He will take the right decisions at the right time and that is why he is the best PM India has ever seen or heard more
