Liquor shops may now stay open till 3 am

It is freaking pathetic that the Govt is going to allow liquor shops and bars to remain open till 3 am now on additional payment in gurgaon and faridabad.

Why 3 am, take even more money and let them be open 24x7. more

My issue is not about paying more to the Sarkar or allowing liquor establishments to stay open late, or the increase of crime rates due to the easy availability of liquor and zero law enforcement during and after hours. My issue is about allowing these liquor establishments to open in or next to residential areas, which invites criminal activity to the neighborhood and noise pollution into the wee hours of the morning. Don't the residents, who pay their taxes, who pay Sarkar, deserve a good nights sleep without stress about crime in their lives and noise that seems to never end? Yes, these citizens have a legal right to have a peaceful night of sleep without the crimes and noise pollution. Our Sarkar needs to address these issues, instead of avoiding them every time. In the same vein on Swatch Bharat, the waste pollution in our designated green zones or buffer zones surrounding our residential areas is unchecked by the authorities. This is because Builders and Land Developers bribe local landlords, who in turn consent to these Builders and Land Developers handling the maintenance of these green zones through the Government agencies concerned. These green zones are then used by Builders and Land Developers as their dumping ground for construction and other waste. The Government doesn't check or audit the maintenance of these green zones at all, because the concerned agencies have been bribed by those Builders and Land Developers to allow such corruption unchecked and without consequences. The Affected are the residents of the residential areas in the vicinity of the ruined green zones and the Government won't entertain complaints from these Affected residents, because they are aware of the corruption in which pie they may be accomplices. This needs probe by a competent authority with the oversight of a competent Court of Law, as does the liquor establishments near or next to residential areas. more
This is, not only shocking but really worrying. What do you think? On Fri, 21 Feb 2020, 15:12 Sandhya Agarwal, wrote: > more
there are always two sides of the coin. It is is better that when we post anything we should look at both the aspects. from the face of it liquor seems to be bad thing .But the fact is entire haryana givernment staff salary is being paid becuse the excise collection of liquor only. After implementation of GST the entire amoutnis collected in central govenrment account the centre is delaying the release of funds to states. not only haryana almost all the states as central govenrmnet is struggling to meet its own commitments. The day liqour comes undr GST moind all the actvities in haryana would come to halt as the state govenrment does not have the fund not even to pay even staff salaries what to talk about development You can argue about Bihar where there is total ban then how it is surving just to informyou bihar never was big market for indian made foreign liqour(imfl).it was always home made daru which never fall under excise regime, so there was not much loss to the state government In haryana you can see the conditions of civil hospitals or state roads .all are pathetic, compare the electricity tariff with delhi . All has been possible due to sale of liqour. Pl do not treat that I am advocating or promoting the liqour but I am just trying to clarify certain financial aspects more
More liquor more crime.. more
