The Landmark coaching is very different from the Art of Living ones. These are highly experiential. They do have getting-to-know sessions on some weekday evenings. Try it out. What I can say is that it transforms your life for the infinitely better. I have got coached in mind-control, concentration, meditation by coaches from the Ramakrishna Mission, from Buddhist coaches at Dharamsala, and one thinks Landmark would be in same category. It is not. But like I said, it is experiential and difficult to describe. How effectively can a person learn to swim by watching a video or reading a book? more

I have undergone coaching at Landmark Education in both its basic coaching (known as Forum) and advanced coaching. These are 3-days each, Fri-Sun, 14 hours a day. One of the things they coach about is to live in the present, not to worry much about a future that can never be seen or to have too many overhangs about the past. That is just one part of the coaching. What is remarkable is that the coach grabs and sustains your attention for 14 hours a day (there are 3 meal breaks in between) when we think that a person's attention span is hardly 10-15 minutes). more
