Kirana order deliveries

Similar is my case with D Mart. I had placed an order on 23 May and was supposed to receive goods by 26 May. However, no delivery so far neither any update so far. When emailed customer service centre, the reply is that they receive so many complaints daily that they do not have any time even to reply properly. Even no one picks up customer care phone. It is always busy or when it is ringing, no one picks up. Luckily, the amount is to be paid on delivery. more

Nothing unusual. These stores have limited staff and demand for home delivery is enormous. Therefore, delivery of orders are likely to be inordinately delayed. Our problems are not to rely on the stores functioning nearby and get such orders executed by them expeditiously even if a few more bucks need to be paid to them. These people are extremely helpful in the event of an emergency. more  
It is absured to support the online platforms misdoings which hampers the interests of customers who shell out their hard earned money. more  
Don't waste your time on follow-up - either cancel the order or pay and take delivery when it arrives.
eCommerce is NOT for urgent requirements. more  
ORDER ONLY ON SITES WHICH ACCEPT MONEY ON DELIVERY TO AVOID DISPUTES AND LOCKING UP OF MONEY more

I also feel that one must take time out (which is not a problem at all in the current situation) and do the purchases. It may take more time as compared to earlier days when social distancing was not practised, but you do not facesuch problems. more
