A rape victim, apart from medical test is being asked by the defence lawyer as to what really happen when you are raped. In one of the famous rape case in Odisha, the culprit is captured after 22 years and the victim is asked to identify the accused in a parade. After all these things, the Court takes months to give the judgement, only because the lawyer of the accused goes on taking time on every hearing.
Can there not be quick judgement. The Delhi rape case took 7 long years to hang the culprit.
Where we stand, so far as the women's safety and security is concerned. more
