With this post we would like to seek your inputs on issues you have faced with your broadband, dsl or other type of internet connection.
With many people working from home, children doing online classes, the demand for such services has seen a major surge in last 12 months, however, the quality has stayed the same at best or deteriorated.

Our TATASKY BB has gone dead 13 times during this year. The dead period ranges from 3 days to 10 days, causing us unending tension and mental agony, disrupting all our on -line medical consultations and putting all our patients to immense hardships. we received no response or apology from TATASKY to our repeated grievances. The only standard ever ready explanation was that these disruptions were because of 'OUTAGES IN OUR AREA' On 14/07/2021, we wrote to the Appellate Authority and posed the following queries: 1. How come these so called outages target only TATASKY and spare the other service providers in our complex . Is it safe to assume that the service is of inferior status? 2. How come the other service providers repair and set right the connectivity within 24 hours? 3. How come there is no apology and deduction of charges ( for more than 25 days) of NO SERVICE? Does not this amount to UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES?, draining of our hard earned money,? 4. How come suddenly since ONE MONTH, we are not able to access any WIFI facilities in our adjoining rooms, which we were enjoying all these years, with the same package, same router etc. We are constantly greeted with " Low bandwidth signal". Neither are the so efficient TATA sky technicians able to offer any plausible explanation 5. Our Subscription term was valid till 01/07/2021, but the internet connectivity was suspended on 30 June itself, and even though we renewed the one month package on 01/07/2021, the connection was restored only on 02/07/2021 After much persuasion, we were compensated with usage for 19 days.None of the other queries were, however answered .TATASKY are indeed, big cheaters, and anyone thinking of opting for their pathetic services are embarking on a risky journey...........Anthony Gomes more
We can send multiple satellites to moon. But we do not have good mobile connectivity, or broad band, uninterrupted quality power supply, regular supply of drinking water, a good public transport system, motorable roads, push car free pavements, and disciplined traffic system. I am using TATA Sky broadband initially it was good but now there is frequent disconnection, and paying premium price. The support and service are not upto the mark. The main problem is that we do not get quality and quantity for the premium we are paying. more
After using all the above broad band and internet services, I have faced many issues you have all mentioned. I have now settled with Jio fiber and it is giving me a big relief. No more disconnection and slow speeds. No more battery problems and cable cuts. Try if you have Jio services in your areas. more
