Don't overlook Bangladesh’s resilience. Despite currency fluctuations, UN data shows India and Bangladesh are neck-and-neck on the Human Development Index. Bangladesh actually leads in key social areas: their maternal health metrics are slightly better, and their female labor force—the backbone of the garment and craft industries—is a powerhouse India is still working to match. This foundational focus on welfare suggests that the nation India helped create is far more stable than the headlines suggest. That will see THE COUNTRY CREATED BY INDIA through in the coming years.
