Inputs Sought on Catering Improvements

The consolidated inputs from this circle on the subject of catering have been submitted to IRCTC and Indian Railways catering twice this year and many of those recommendations have been acted upon.

With this post, we would like to do a pulse check on state of things.

How has the advanced food booking service through IRCTC worked for you?
Has the food/service quality from IRCTC improved as compared to last year?
Has the food/service quality from Indian Railways catering/outsourced catering improved as compared to last year?

Provide Quality checks of food and standards for Food quality. What is and How is -- complaint mechanism (Known to customer) and addressing the customer complaints is provided. more

Food of IRCTC is really bad and price is also charged almost double than its own price list. For example Price of Lunch / Dinner is Rs. 55/- to Rs/- 65/- but IRCTC charges Rs: 95/- to 105/- why ?????? more
