In Allahabad. UP. Garbage collection has started in a few localities through a company appointed by the department. This garbage collection company is known by the name " HARI BHARI " i think the department has done this one good job, this company has started doing a good job, charges fixed per house are Rs.70/- per month, but they lack staff ie: collection boys. Publicity had been started by the company through an audio informing the common citizen the need to join the scheme and help in creating cleanliness. I would rate that song as 9 points out of 10, it's a good song, no body can miss the lyrics and the message it delivers, the song is on the lips of almost one and all. I pray that this company works properly for some time to come. Hope the department also renders all help to them to work properly. more

Garbage collection is one issue but the more important issue is garbage disposal. people throw waste all over the place other than the dustbin. there is a need to create awareness on this issue. people clean their houses and throw garbage on the road. This has to stop more

FIVE YEARS AGO IN GUJARAT GARBAGE COLLECTION PURPOSE APPOINTED PVT COMPANY AND FOR THE SAME ALL FLAT / BUNGALOW OWNERS SHOULD PAY Rs.20/- P M IF SUCH THINGS ARE STARTED HALF OF THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.THE COLLECTION SHALL BE DONE BY CO'S VEHICLE AND ATTENDANT AT PARTICULAR TIME EVERY DAY.THE WET AND DRY GARBAGE ARE TO BE GIVEN SEPARATELY. THERE WERE MANY COMPANY'S WERE INTERESTED IN THIS SERVICE.DO IT AGAIN AT ALL THE PROBLEMATIC CITY / METRO CITY,WHERE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE. more
