Infrastructural boon or bane for milineum city

The recent development on sector road to 56 via Phase 1, golf course road. The whole drama of selling properties on golf course road by making it signal free all the way from highway is a joke. I do not see authorities taking a stance on making pedestrian way. No plans for making foot-over bridges.

Once the road will be operational it will prove to be more fatal than NH8. Crossing like sikanderpur, Bristol chowk, chakkarpur village and golf course crossing should have foot-over bridges.

The are the places where most of the labour for the fancy houses come from, they do not have road knowledge and tend to cross roads risking their lives.

It is very important they make provisions from now itself than waiting for few people to pay with their lives. more

Possibly what has been mentioned earlier is relevant. The "class"-ification into old and new Gurgaon, the posh vs the simple,is definitely an issue.Whatever the reasons are for the utter incongruity of fancy houses and cars sitting on dusty roads(someone once told me years ago some tax benefit accrued to those choosing to live in Gurgaon vis-a-vis Delhi),it has made for a total oddball of a "city".One thinks the hype, specially in the press, has been responsible for the entirely false picture created ,for years,of Gurgaon. On transport-God forbid,if in the days before ola cabs, your car broke down! You were well and truly stranded!I mean,Megacabs and Easy cabs were there(as they are even now) but not in your reach if your budget was smaller.Extensions of old Gurgaon were worse.Today, autos still cannot cross the border though more buses do ply and,ah!,the Metro-God's gift to Delhi-NCR is packed! Gurgaon, has just grown on me,warts and all,but a city it is not. more
I AGREE THAT THE STATE OF AFFAIRS IN ANY AREA PERTAINING TO CIVIC ISSUES,ENVIRONMENT ,TRAFFIC ,PARKS HUDA MATTERS ETC YOU VERY SAD more
Pray, what are the CMs or Chief Secretarys for ? Or for that matter, the MP and the MLAs who represent the Citizens of Gur-ka-gaon for -- which, if i may say so, is tending to lose its sweetness! ! Saving the Arravalis, Green Gurgaon & Haryana, greater power cum support to NGOs like iamgurgaon IS indeed the way to go, including the Bio Diversity Park. MCG should get empowered, as well as the other agencies and resurrect the Lakes that this area has lost. Sports, armed services, IT-related software & industry, plus research in that area, enlarge the healthcare pioneered by the private sector for ALL & not just the rich, Skills-related plus Nutrition related education, Education for the women, and small scale industry ought to provide a greater future, for the Citizens of Gurgaon, Haryana, India and the world at large. Does the leadership ( arm-in-arm) with the Central leadership in the next 1-2 decades, perceive that happening ? One hopes so. It all can be achieved with funding from Indians and from international agencies. Floriculture, organic ag-reated vegetables for the NCR and export is possible with support by the State and the Centre. Recognise that the highly able "melting pot of India" resides in Gurgaon. Leadership with the corporate sector will promote both Haryana and the adjoining States, as well as our India, that is Bharat. i hope i have responded as positively as one can be, regardless of the disabilities, to date, that Haryana governance has been.... ! Respected Chopraji, but who will bell the cat,or better still, take the bull by the horns? more
Urvi Sukul Singh ji, Sure, "do rest your case"-- but let us NOT rest till the "take ke politicoes cum builders and planners" listen to the Citizens on what can be, and how the same, be SAVED.....! Best & Peace. dev chopra *** *** more
