People are well aware, by now, what can act as a effective shield against infection through the use of masks, distancing and personal hygiene. However, a significant portion of the people have chosen to act irresponsibly exposing others to danger. Hence, we have to get this section of society in compliance mode through peer pressure and social shaming as the punitive enforcement also may not be very effective as has been seen in the enforcement of mandate for helmet wearing by the bike riders. The other solution made available by the state is to get vaccinated most expeditiously so that vulnerable sections are covered fully. more
