India has got it all wrong on pollution

Looking at this I am saying arre address this rather than spending your energies on things like lighting Lakh diyas in ayodhya.
If this continues for 5-6 years you may not have anyone left for Attending diya and banaras ghat functions.
Govt must be judged on pollution parameter. This should not be repeated in 2018 more

While I fully understand the problems faced by the residents of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana, sitting in south which has its own problems, I can think of the following also as a possible solution to both sides of India. (not the 3 states involved) BUT WHY NO POLITICIAN FROM THE SOUTH IS NOT EVEN THINKING OF THIS? They can get a VOTE catching slogan with this! I agree, the cost involved might be alittle more, but it can save human life in the north while cattle life in the south. As agriculture is affected in may states in south, cattle die in lots as there is not sufficient feed, (called as VAIKOL "வைக்கோலை")-(small error in the Tamil word as i have no Tamil fonts to retype). Instead of burning, if it can be tightly machine packed and sent to the south, especially to TN, it can be even sold so that some income is also generated for those farmers, simultaneously giving life to cattle here. state to state or even the centre can at least consider this. Above is applicable if I have correctly understood the reason for the problem as "burning of stubble" in the field. It may not be easy but is it not not easier to live smoke free rather than fighting after a smoke? My suggestion is based on what I see in the published photos of burning. (may be we want some smoke always, so that everyone knows that there is some "fire..corruption"!?) more
