Increase of fine amount for traffic violation

In the Recent past, the traffic rule violation has increased many fold.
Amongst these, most violations are done by Two wheeler.
Two wheelers are having good power. Some of the bikes are costing Rs. 7 Lakes & above. If the owners of such bike can spend such big amount for purchasing high price bike , then they can easily spend for increased fine amount.
The central Government has suggested such increase amount for the safety of drivers & also of pedestrian.
My suggestion is that, in the new rules, the pedestrians crossing road, with Red pedestrian crossing signal should also be subjected to a fine.
We do need strict Rules for traffic violation. This will increase Safety for all citizens.

The only solution to make citizen to obey traffic rules is increase in fine amount.
With this I appeal Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra & Gujarat not to dilute Traffic rules but to adopt as per direction of fine published by Hon. Shri Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways of India and Shipping Ministry. In the Recent past, the traffic rule violation has increased many fold.

Not only pedestrians but provisions should have also been made to fine the Cyclists, cycle rickshaw pullers as well as hand cart pullers, who never care for traffic rules and are often responsible for causing traffic jam. more
Affordability talk is sheer nonsense. You need conveyance as a facility, so you have to pay for it... BUT, what necessity or comfort one needs and gets by violating traffic rules? If penalties are made affordable, it will only encourage violations. more
Exactly correct. Still many are escaping CITIZEN DUTIES . more
The new traffic rule the police to follow other than helmet signal overspeed insurance licence children ride etc more
In spite of making unnecessary discussion govt. should take strong decision in traffic rule violations. Penalty + Prison hard Punishment for 15- 30 days. the best way to change the trafic police from local to SRP or CRP. they are sitting idle. their duty should be changed after 10- 15 days, equipped with cameras. Take Photo & give receipt. for proof add another Rs. 500 /00 charges. In this way govt. will get income also. The peoples who are often breaking the rules they will make protest ,including media. let them . identify such persons & keep them behind bar in case of violations . In India 90 % peoples are socially illiterate , they may be qualified or unqualified in education. their level is below sheeps. more
The present rule must prevail irrespective of public hue and cry because safety of the citizens are more important. more
