Fine for littering on road in UK is 500 pound which is 50,000 thousand rupees
For travelling without ticket in local train is 100 pound which is 10,000 rupees.
Why we are having fine in peanuts ? high fine is the only instrument to bring people on line.
Please please increase fine for all indiscipline activities in platform and make everyone behave and treat other humans as humans.

First we have to invest on cameras and maintain them, protect them from hooligans, socially problematic and political party members too. Then officers should have conscience to collect fines otherwise both police and perpetrators of law will join hands in bribery. Many such concerns added to the law dispensation in our land has to be considered along with other pressing concerns too. So we are appealing to the mindset change of people. more

As u rightly pointed out the punitive fine will not always help. U find vendors (unlicenced) loitering in the train bogies selling wares. Who controls it? Wrn I asked the TT E. He said he can not take action as they have a valid pass to travel. more

and also all these should be monitored by camera and fine should be collected by independent agency who should be dedicated to do this. more
