Inclusion of Food charges in the base fare of Vandhe Bharath trains
Earlier the choice of NO Food was there. Recently the no food choice is included in the base fare. No food option is not there. From Tiruchirappalli to Bangalore the fodd charges is Rs 300+. We don't like the food provided in the Vandhe Bharath. We take food from home. Suggest Railways to reintroduce NO Food option. more

No food option is available. When entering the passenger details, select one of the food options. Then, below the GST box, there is a check box which says "I don't want food abd beverages". Check the check box. Yes, it is a cunning way of confusing passengers and make passengers, who are unaware or book tickets in a hurry, select and pay for the food. more

There should be NO FOOD CHOICE while booking the ticket. Railways should not allow / sale food in short distance trains. Railways should even ban / restrict (on health grounds) eating foods in short distance trains of 4-5 hours. more

Actually to serve food in a running train is not the work of Indian Railway. There work is to run the trains. They may join pentry car & people have the option either to take food or not. more
